This blog will document the year of travel and work that comes my way in 2013. I am VERY excited and cannot wait to see how many stamps I can get in my passport (imagine Felipe from 'Eat, Pray, Love' saying this, scene at the market). Bring it on!

Purchases in Hoi An
I have just got back from Hoi An town a very happy lady. The other day I got measured up for some jackets and shoes in the styles I wanted. For a woolen winter coat, an exact replica of my little black dress jacket in good fabric, a 'boyfriend' blazer (seeing as I couldn't bring my actual boyfriend with me) and two pairs of leather booties with extra stitching on the soles - US$240 which is about NZ$280! I'm so impressed because they are exactly what I wanted :) I forgot to mention all the coats have silk lining. Back home I'd probably pay that amount for the winter coat alone! I'm all set for the winter in England now but the only problem is going to be fitting it all into my suitcase!

Sounds like great bargains.
ReplyDelete1 solution: Are there any clothes that you could just about do without that you can send home with Mum & Dad?
Great idea! All my summer gears I will send home with my parents :)
